Effortlessly due respect to any or all comedians everywhere, the highest comedians of all time are no longer around, except for Jerry Lewis right now. Comedy today differs from it was yesteryear. Many comedians today need to stretch so far they use language that will not found in public. Yesterday's comedians did not have to head for that, these were just naturally funny. Before the coming of film and radio, there were probably comedians that were laugh your mind off funny, but we cannot learn about. While they were in silent films, we understand that Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, Roscoe "Fatty "Arbuckle, and Buster Keaton were the superior comedians of their day. We could watch many of the old films and laugh as it was funny.
We owe it to ourselves and our children and grandchildren to help keep the laughter alive, and also the memories with the funniest of the funniest. Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin were the top entertainers through the day when they had people to fall out of their chairs. And speaking of Martin and Lewis, what went down to all with the great comedy teams? Unfortunately, there aren't any more comedy teams around. It's my hope and want that folks around this country are telling their children about Abbott and Costello. All the young baseball players should at least know about "Who's on First?" These Stooges won't walk out of style. Does anyone can remember the Curly shuffle? (Please Google this at this time, and I dare happened to get a wide smile.) When I was we were young, everyone knew who Laurel and Hardy were, while they were before my own time. How many consumers know about this classic comedy team, and yet another fine mess they were given into. Watch them on-line, they may be hysterical.
Wheeler and Woolsey were another comedy team, much less recognized, but worth many laughs. The Marx Brothers were a comedy team that was unique, as much as these folks were funny. Harpo was one of several funniest people ever, rather than spoke one word. He was a simpleton who seemed brilliant. Groucho is really a character who I think will never get out of style. Together, we were holding amazing. Burns and Allen are not simply a great comedy team; these folks were also a loving couple. George Burns and Gracie Allen may well not share precisely the same last name, but they shared a real love for the other person that's legendary. Lucy and Ricky were the husband and wife we loved to watch on I enjoy Lucy, but Lucy and Ethel were the comedy duo that had the laugh meter sounding the charts. With that in mind, Lucille Ball is, and always would be the funniest female comedian ever.
There were lots who make us laugh, and here are some more: Milton Berle, Red Skelton, Woody Allen, and Bob Hope. For several individuals, the Little Rascals was obviously a portion of our childhood. Most people do not know that it was filmed on a single studio lot as Laurel and Hardy. I still love watching the old "Blondie" movies. Joe E. Brown a great title for his autobiography, Laughter is a Wonderful Thing."
